Flat jockey Franny Norton is put through his paces by Crosby- based exercise physiologist George Wilson.
In order to get back in shape for the rigours of race riding, Franny enlisted the help of Crosby-based exercise physiologist George Wilson, himself a former jump jockey and winner in the point-to-point field.
The one-time Tranmere Rovers fitness coach ran a number of tests focusing on cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility and worked on joint movement - particularly on the shoulders and arms.
Says Franny: “George put me through all sorts of work, including stretching exercises and the treadmill, every day for a fortnight.
