Anaerobic Threshold Testing
This test determines the optimum heart rate that endurance competitors should work at during competition. The test consists of taking several finger blood samples during an incremental test to maximum heart rate on a cycle or treadmill. From this the point at which an individual starts to accumulate lactic acid, can be determined and the correlated heart rate identified. This is the optimum aerobic work rate. Once again, this service is unique within PERSONAL TRAINING, and is a ‘must’ for participants in endurance sports, even those who are recreational.
Sports Therapy

Having studied anatomy & physiology in great depth throughout his Masters & Hon’s degrees and also during his FA sports injuries studies, George works with clients from initial injury right through to full function and fitness. Previous clients of note have been top flat jockey Francis Norton, ex-professional footballers Duncan Ferguson, John Aldridge and Alan Kennedy, and the former British super-middleweight boxing champion Tony Dodson (see pics).
